“My Eiffel Tower” Art Contest

To celebrate the 14 juillet (Bastille Day), and in collaboration with Lee Lane Merchants, we are organizing an Art Contest. Contestants are invited to imagine and create their own version of the Eiffel Tower. Your art will be juried by popular voting at locations on Lee Lane and the St. Tammany Homestead on Columbia Street.

The contest is open to all residents of St Tammany Parish. All work must be the original, unique creation of the artist submitting the artwork. No work that has been directly copied from any published source or which includes such material may be submitted. Renderings of the tower may be based upon existing published imagery, but must be creatively modified and reinterpreted using the artist's own vision and style.

Prizes will be given on Saturday, July 17, 2010 during the Bastille Day Event on Lee Lane in Covington. Organized by the St. Tammany Art Association and Béatrice Germaine.

DEADLINE TO REGISTER: Monday, June 26, 2010
ENTRY FEE: Registration fee of $10.00 is due for each show entry
Forms available at all shops on Lee Lane and the St. Tammany Art Association, 320 North Columbia Street.
