St. Tammany Art Association presents an opportunity for cancer patients and survivors to come spend time together and express yourselves through watercolor. Joleen will demonstrate basic fundamental methods and watercolor techniques that make up the foundation of this luminous, transparent water media.
You will learn about tube colors, color theory, brushes, brush strokes, dropping in color, glazes, and developing values.
Joleen studied at The Cranbrook Institute of Art in Detroit and the Cleveland Art Institute in Ohio. She has also done graduate work at the University of Wyoming and Colorado State. Joleen has been teaching watercolor for 25 years. The class is limited to 10 students.
