Join Richard for this clay hand building class. Each student will work from sketches of concepts they want to pursue. You will have opportunities to advance skills of combining slab and extruded clay constructions to create functional ware. In addition, we will have beginning kiln loading and firing operations. Richard has an extensive background in clay, jewelry, bronze and glass from his early days in Illinois and later at Loyola and Tulane.
Fee includes a limited amount of clay, glazes and firings. 6/10

Eligibility for discount is based on level of membership. For Student and Friend memberships, the individual member is eligible; for all other membership levels, the member and immediate family (up to four people total) are eligible. Memberships will be verified and must be active the date of the workshop(s) to qualify for the discount.
